If you are not ready to pull in order, you will pull last in your class. There will be a 1% allowance over your weight limit.ġ5. All tractors must have a positive throttle stop with a working governor.ġ4. There will be 300 RMP’s allowed over manufacturers specifications. If track judge thinks you are showing excessive RPM, he will ask you to pull off the track after your pull to be checked. If the tractor is equipped with wheelie bars the rule does not apply.ġ3. If the track judge feels your front end is too high a flag or whistle blowing will stop you. The puller will be disqualified if any tractor wheel touches a track boundary line.ġ2. Any foul language directed toward any track official will mean immediate disqualification.ġ1. Anyone operating a tractor while under the influence of intoxicants will be automatically disqualified.ġ0. The track flagman has the right to stop any pull if safety becomes a factor.Ĩ. Addition and subtraction of weights will not be allowed after weigh-in. Wheel weights must be permanently mounted. A clevis or “D” pull ring must have a minimum 2 ¾” diameter opening. No support can exceed the top of the axle or original point of hook. Purchased, forged twisted clevises are allowed. Drawbar height cannot exceed 20 inches and cannot be closer than 18 inches from the center of the rear axle to the back of the hitch hole. No increasing of wheel diameter from original factory size.ĥ. Front tire size can be one rim size and one tire size smaller than the original. Tire size may be increased one size over original as indicated by the manufacturer of the tractor. No splitting of rims to accommodate oversize tires will be allowed. Steel wheel tractors will pull at the end of each class.į. Tractors later converted to rubber tires will be allowed. No tractors newer than 1959 will be pulled.Į. All tractors are required to have fan shrouds in place. Only manufacturer’s original replacement parts are allowed. No homemade manifolds, headers, engine shields, aluminum manifolds or aluminum frame parts will be allowed. Definition of original stock condition: This means the engine is original or is a natural progression replacement, restored to factory specifications. M&W engine kits, power packs and power blocks will be allowed in rebuilding or restoring tractors.ī. Because of insurance requirements, all tractors will look original or be restored to original stock conditions. Only one person is to be on a tractor at any time, no riders.Ī. Tractors can be weighed at any time BUT only the weight prior to the pull will be accepted.ģ. Tractors will be weighed and lined up before each class. Tractors need to be registered prior to the event. All contestants under the age of 18 must have a consent form signed by their parent or legal guardian to participate in each pull.Ģ. Safety of the individual and tractor are the key factors due to insurance regulations. If these individuals cannot operate the tractor to pull standards set by the pull committee they will not be allowed to participate in the class.
